Shamrock Plank Flooring’s Rancho Madera Collection: Old West Style
The Old West has a mystique about it. It’s the subject of countless movies, books and imaginations.
Dusty streets, false-front wood buildings, swinging saloon doors, and wood flooring with rugged cowboy-boot character.
Shamrock Plank Flooring grabbed onto these ideas with its Rancho Madera collection. American white oak, hickory and walnut. Prefinished engineered. Seven inches wide. Hand-crafted: scraped, wire-brushed, distressed to imitate the wear of use over time.
Shamrock’s color specialists developed the flooring line. A team, inspired by the designers’ use of earthy tones, American species of wood, and highlights of knot and grain character, named each of the 10 flooring products for something that brings the West to mind. Examples: Tumbleweed, Maverick, Longhorn, Desperado, Gold Rush.
Shamrock’s artisans craft each board of the Rancho Madera collection. No two planks are the same, with each being sculpted and distressed by hand.
Like all Shamrock’s flooring lines, Rancho Madera is made from sustainably harvested oak, walnut and hickory forests it owns in Indiana. Each product provides a three-millimeter wear layer. At the core, Russian birch.
“The Rancho Madera collection is a prime example of the quality, American-made, prefinished engineered flooring collections Shamrock creates,” says Jack Shannon, President and CEO of J.T. Shannon Lumber Company, which includes Shamrock Plank Flooring. “Rancho Madera is designed beautifully. It reminds us of all we think of when imagining the history, durability and romance of the land of cowboys, saloons, and rugged frontier.”
